Celebrate the Red Tulip Gallery Grand Opening

Daffodils 300pxls longI am one of the founders of Red Tulip Gallery. We have been established now, for a full year now. Our members create in a great variety of media. We have pottery, several styles, glass, both stained and blown glass, fiber art in the form or dolls and period work, plus wearable art, baskets, jewelry, turned wood and handmade wooden furniture.

We have just moved from Newtown, PA to New Hope, PA. Our grand opening was the weekend May 31 and June 1. There will be special events each weekend throughout June. Personally I will be demonstrating my pierced my pierced work on June 7, 11:30 – 1 and 2 – 3:30.

New Hope is a very “artsy” town and we hope to attract many people walking by, plus we have many methods of advertising our beautiful work. You can fine us on Facebook.com/RedTulipGallery, also at www.redtulipcrafts.com. Many folks have followed us from our last location to our new one.

The craft world is always evolving. There are so many good craft artists who develop their skills and put forth new ideas, expressing them through their particular media. As you know, mine is stoneware pottery and raku pottery. I have worked in clay all my life. Sometimes I have so many ideas, but little time to actually make them in my clay. As our new gallery is established I hope to devote much more energy to my creative side and begin to develop some of these ideas.
