The current iconic Washington Crossing Bridge was built in 1904 replacing earlier versions which were wooden and sweep away during floods. This bridge has had several repairs though these many years. It is narrow and can be a challenge to cross for a wider vehicle. The waters traveling under make an idyllic picture to paint. I’m sure it has been done many, many times. This is my interpretation of it.

How many times have I crossed this bridge? I don't dared to count. One tucks in the rear view mirrors and drives slowly across. My joke is always the same. "Why did Washington cross in boats when there is a perfectly good bridge here!" LOL.
